Oops....been a bit slack in posting - catch up time

Sorry for the lack of posts. Radiotheraphy seems pretty straight forward but I have been feeling pretty awful.

I have now had 7 of the 10 sessions and whilst my eating (or rather drinking) has not improved it has not reached the point where nothing will go down that I was worried about.
The radiotherapists say it could be up to 6 weeks after treatment before all improvements are made. I have certainly hoping for the "bacon snadwich" level improvement...anything else will feel like a bit of a failure.

I saw the GP on Monday and she gave me some antibiotics - the taking of which seems to have co-incided with me feeling better.

Thomas has his cast removed from his arm on Monday and Alex (who is 11) played for the Matlock under 13's cricket team in a cup final on Monday. They won! He was delighted to be taken off for a meal with the team after the game and dropped home at 10:15pm.

On a tougher note we sat down with Tom and Al on Saturday night and let them know the situation with my treatment......let's just say it was tough all round - but at least they are now aware of what is going on.
