Just a quick update.
We have a fantastic turnout of 12 of us for the golf tomorrow. The Weather forecast is good and furtive practise has/is taking place for a number of the 28 handicapers around the country! Could well be a "bandit" winner.
England have qualified for the World Cup finals in South Africa next June/July - my hope is that I'm still around to see it. Just my rotten luck for England to finally go and win the thing a few months after I pop my clogs!
Have booked my tickets between the UK and Philly - outbound on Saturday 10th October and return Saturday 17th October - just finalising the hotels and Philly-Vegas-Philly flights. Man thats a big-ass country - 5 hours to fly from Philly to Vegas, you could fly from London to Moscow in less.
For better or worse I have rediscovered my taste for Port - unfortunately my tolerance to alcohol is at an all time low so hangover cures are required.

ReplyDeleteWe are in Philly on the 10th and 11th October - unfortunately this is a Saturday and Sunday so it may limit the number of folks that are around.
We will be in Vegas from the 12th to the 17th.
