Had a really good bonfire night party on Friday (DJ - please note Friday not Saturday!). Even the weather was kind and it stayed mostly dry.
On Saturday Alex, Thomas, Grandad and myself headed up to Newcastle. Unfortunately Peterborough put in another poor display and we lost 3-1 in front of 43,067 fans - easily the biggest crowd to watch Posh in a league game ever.
Sunday football proved much more successful with Al's teaming winning for the first time this season in their new "Energy Solutions" kit. The final score was 3-0 but it could easily have been 10 (rather like Posh in the first half). I was linesman for the game and now have a long appointment with the sofa booked for the afternoon!
